Choosing the right guitar strings

How much thought do you put into which strings you choose?

Strings are like tires. The rubber meets the road, your fingers meet the strings. It's all about that first point of contact. Having the baddest ride on the planet counts for nothing if you don't have good tires. Likewise, you need great strings no matter how souped up your instrument is.

So says Nick Schendzielos, a bass player with tons of chops and the stage and studio experience to know what gear will have his back. Nick uses Dunlop Bass Strings.
