Alan Coller
Alan worked for 5 years at Arcata Music, plays classical guitar and manages our McKinleyville location. He also teaches guitar and violin lessons at both Eureka and McKinleyville locations.
Halsey Ray
Known Aliases: The H Man, H-Bomb, and Captain Danger
If this man is seen please do not try to apprehend him yourself, instead immediately contact the authorities. Halsey is well known to cut dangerously awesome deals, and is considered a menace to society. He is suspected of crimes against bad gear, and should be treated as armed and dangerous. His weapon of choice is a telecaster, and he’s usually wearing unmatched cloths of different vintages. His last known location was Fortucky, CA but he has also been sighted in Old Town, Eureka, as well as all over the Humboldt Nation.
Jason Hodel
Jason performs with grass-roots, groove-rockin’ Kulica on acoustic and electric mandolin, and vocals. He works at the McKinleyville location.
Kegan Demant “The Drum Doctor”
Kegan started drumming in 1999, and hasn’t stopped since. He has learned useful setup and maintenance techniques from several clinics and workshops he’s attended over the years. The knowledge he has acquired has led him to become Mantova’s Two Street Music’s “Drum Doctor”, which means Humboldt County drummers now have a place to go when they need help finding the right sound for their drums, or picking out a cymbal or sound effect. He even performs maintenance and repairs on most drums, and offers a house-call service for most repair as well. By partnering up with the Drum Doctor, Mantova’s Two Street Music is able to best serve Humboldt County’s Drummers.
Kegan maintains the largest drum room and equipment selection in Humboldt County.
Austin Nichols
Mantova’s Two Street Music is proud to hire the most experienced and most qualified band instrument repair technician in Humboldt County. As the only NAPBIRT (National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair) technician between the Oregon border and the Bay Area, Austin Nichols is the only repair tech you want taking care of your treasured instruments. Austin is also certified for brass and woodwind repairs by VIR (Veritas Instrument Rental), and if you want even more–Austin is certified for band instrument repair by Renton Technical School near Seattle. When you bring your band instrument to Mantova’s Two Street Music for re-padding, chemical cleans, corking, fixing springs and dents, etc–you can feel confident that you are getting the best service available. Before being hired and joining the MTS Music team at the Eureka location, Austin Nichols was the President and Founder of Humboldt Music Repair. As a sidenote, Austin has a “frightningly” bad taste in music. Really bad.
But to put it bluntly: There is no other place in Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Sonoma, or Lake County to get your band instrument fixed properly.
Don’t let inexperienced and non certified people break your stuff! When you choose Mantova’s Two Street Music you choose Austin Nichols and his over 10 years of experience. And that is the way to do it.
